Slow defibrator

To feed the biomass boilers, we have designed and developed a wood “defibrator”.
The main advantage when compared to the existing system is the complete absence of dust, which increases the performance of the installation and reduces the wear of the boiler tubes.
The wood “defibrator” defibrates both dry and wet wood.
Wood is no longer cut but defibrated. Hooks made of high strength steel enter the wood and tear off pieces. The rotor is driven by an hydraulic motor and its control ensures both a steady power and a reverse rotation in case of blocking or absence of stress.
These defibrators can either be electrical or with tractor PTO, or even with both of them. Their 1 meter working widths correspond to the dimension of the firewood supplied in cubic meters.
